Yesterday was the English Term Project. Every year, FIS organises different activities to raise fund for the Good Sheperd Home which houses children from broken homes. This year, we came out with game stalls and had a funfair-like thingy. It was a great experience. Everyone enjoyed and had a blast. All the lecturers came down with full force to support us after they finished their classes. It was awesome, they took time to play at every single game stall of ours.
Ours was "Junk Hunt". The theme was 'Pirate'. Ivan and Masako was our maskots of the day. They did most of the publicity job, luring people to try out our game while having to pose to take pictures for almost-freaking-out camera-holding people who I think had a huge thing for pirates. Overall, we all had put immense effort and time into this and personally, I am very proud of everyone and the outcome of our stall especially. We didn't think many people would be willing to pay money to spend twenty minutes or so to go around campus, sweat, think so hard and basically, sweat in their fancy clothes. Terrific, we're the highest-earning game stall, according to the 'coupon girls' :).
Not only that, Navetra sponsored our grand prizes; an MP4, a headphone set and a card reader. We had hampers for the early birds and fast-hunters. I did the registration for the day, Charel and Chi Kang brainstormed on the deco, and Pavitra, Lina, Alene, Nad and everyone did a super awesome job on the clues days beforehand cause they need to be thoroughly checked by Ms. Vivien. Our team leader, Clare, she was the one getting everybody going when we're slowing down. She's always so energetic and lively and smiles 24 hours, seven days in a week, I wonder how she does that. Well, every time when something ends, there left an empty space waiting to be filled. It's not so pleasant a feeling sometimes. Pictures, all grabbed from fellow hyper FIS-mates.
