Another day, another chance

Every time coming back from another place feels weird for me.
So, the land of great pulut mangga.

Baht, baht, baht.

The lil' one was like, Thailand got Taj Mahal meh?
LOL.

We stayed at the Grand Plaza Hotel which is just opposite Central Mall.
Four of us shared a room and grandma took a room all by herself.

McD. I don't know why but the prices are cheaper there.

Tuna Pie. Yumm.

Samurai Pork Burger. P=

Lots of weird, unique, interesting things to see, and eat.

Ate Dim Sum here.

Their chee cheong fun. :)

Their uchakueh is like so short and cute. Funny-looking food.

Temples there are seriously grand. Everything is HUGE.
And Thais pray from left to right, opposite of us.

The legendary Mermaid.
The tour guide said her boobs has different colours, I don't get what he meant.

The Great Serpent 'Nag'.

Fortune teller under the tree.

These are actually honey soaps. I thought they were candies.

The hugest pumpkin.

Yen, does this pretty boy count? Haha.

The Pagoda.

Coins embedded into the walls.

There's like so many passages. Seriously can get lost here.
It's kinda like the Japanese game show on tv.

Market/ Pasar/ Passat.

Nice guy, nice boss.

Zebra brand.
Very cheap in Thailand.
Mom and grandma took so long here.

Weird, weird names.

Tuk-tuk.

No, I didn't get to eat my pulut mangga :(

*These are just some of the photos taken.

Going on trips like this really opens your eyes about certain things we often overlook. The people there are not of very well off background but they work very hard to earn a decent living. Even the school children, they help their parents take care of the stalls by the roadside right after school, still in their uniforms. Even though living a moderate and simple lifestyle, they are happy and contented in their own ways. Of course, if there are better options, they would definitely opt for it. Sometimes, because of the hardship we went through in earlier parts of our lives, we tend to put up a guard when meeting new people. I realised this in some of them.

We're coming to the mid of June.
Good day.

Leave the door open

2nd of June 2011

Mr. Thatchu turned eighteen.
We went 'prawning' at a place I never knew existed although I passed by there quite often.
It was a good experience. I will go back there someday, with someone who has comparable patience :).

The wall of glory. Lol.

This guy had my attention :P

Ewh.

All so excited at the beginning..

Haha.

Sara caught the FIRST prawn. It gave me hope y'know.
I caught two prawns not long after that and then, no more.

The serious look. And the halo above his head. ;)

*falling from the chair*

Speechless.
Umm..irregular boobs?

This restaurant is so... awesomely slow in serving.

Where there's food, there's joy. :)

When I was taking the sky, I saw these young kids came closer to me and said, "Ambil gambar kita!" repeatedly. I smiled and did as they said.

One snap, two snaps, three snaps. And they wanted more. "Lagi, lagi, lagi!" The excitement in them multiplied by a thousand, I can tell by the broad smiles on their faces..

When I finally had to go, I actually felt reluctant. Those few minutes meant so much to me and I believe, to those kids too.

Those smiles.. they are so pure, innocent and naive. It made me felt something so genuine.. :')

Thank you.. for letting me snap your pictures and more.

I'm going to the land of great pulut mangga in two days.
I can't wait, to fill my stomach.
Have a sweet tomorrows.
